Kumar Vaibhav, Full-stack engineer
I build web apps, Android apps, multiplayer games and tools for AI agents.
I build things end to end. Web apps, Android apps, desktop plugins, and games that run in a browser tab. Most of my projects start because something annoyed me. A laptop webcam that looked like soup. A train ride with no internet and one movie between four friends. A bank SMS inbox nobody could read.
So I write the fix, and I keep going until it ships. These days that means real-time 3D and multiplayer netcode, on-device Android work, and tools for the AI agents I code with every day. I run Arch with Hyprland, and I care a lot about how software feels to use.
Projects
- Tidebound: First-person survival in a browser tab. You wash up on the volcanic island of Kaelu, gather and craft through the nights, and climb the volcano to light a beacon so a ship can find you. The island, plants, creatures and props are procedural. Every sound and every note of music is synthesized at runtime.
- Sundown City Online: An open-world sandbox where up to 100 players share one persistent city. Drive cars with raycast suspension, explore districts that light up in neon after dark, and chat with whoever is nearby. The city, cars, characters, textures and sounds are all generated from code, from one deterministic seed.
- Stamble Guys: A knockout party game in the style of Stumble Guys. Three rounds across eight maps: hammers, sweepers, fake doors, colour calls and hex floors that drop out from under you. A map wheel spins before every round, and bots take the empty seats when your friends are late.
- RailReel: One phone hosts a movie, friends join its hotspot, and everyone watches on their own screen with their own headphones in frame-accurate sync. Zero internet. The file moves phone to phone through a Kotlin HTTP server with byte-range support, and a pause on the host pauses everyone.
- PhoneCam: Turns an Android phone into an HD webcam for Linux over local Wi-Fi. It shows up as a normal camera in Meet, Zoom, Discord, OBS and the browser. No accounts, no cloud, no subscription. Ships as a .deb, an .rpm, an Arch package and an Omarchy plugin.
- Finman: A wealth manager for Indian users that reads bank and UPI SMS on the device and turns them into transactions. It collapses the three alerts one UPI payment fires into one entry, and tracks FDs, mutual funds with daily NAV and live NSE/BSE quotes. No backend and no login. Your data never leaves the phone.
- Vyom: A personal Android agent for an Obsidian vault. The chat searches and patches notes through any OpenAI-compatible model, sessions survive restarts, and commits only touch files Vyom wrote. Sync is plain git through JGit. Vyom is Sanskrit for sky.
- AGENT_OPS: Reads the session stores of Claude Code, Codex, Grok CLI, OpenCode and Antigravity, then shows token burn, cost per model and how much prompt caching saved. It opens every SQLite file read-only, so the agents never notice it. A sync parses fresh telemetry in under 150 ms.
- Voxlab: Stream your voice into Deepgram, Groq Whisper, Gemini and Sarvam and compare latency, cost and output side by side. It has a live spectrum, a peak dBFS meter that warns before clipping, and a price card showing what the same take costs on every provider.
- BIS Saarthi: Built for Smart India Hackathon 2026, problem 26107. A conversational assistant for Indian Standards and BIS services that answers in English or Hindi. It searches a 24k-row standards catalogue with SQLite FTS5 and BM25, and every factual answer links the official page it came from.
- NyayaPack: Built for SIH 2026, problem 26034. An inspector photographs a packaged product, NyayaPack reads the label declarations with OCR, checks them against the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011, and produces a report the inspector can correct, confirm and export.
- WebRadio: Internet radio built for background music. It drops broken streams, dedupes stations by resolved URL, and ranks them by trend, votes and bitrate. It remembers which stations failed you. Playback goes through the Web Audio API first so the visualizer works, and falls back to plain audio when CORS says no.
- Laser Pointer: A laser pointer plugin for the Omarchy desktop. Hold left-click to draw a glowing trail that fades when you let go, pick one of eight colours, and toggle it from the bar. One command to install, no Hyprland bindings needed. My most-starred repo.
